LJ, i'll miss you, and i'm sorry for neglecting you!

yay, I just got out of work today! i'm so happy because you have no idea how much I was dreading to go to work! i'm working 9-5 on Sunday anyways, which is morning + after church + mother's day brunch hours! and that means MONEY. So today, I'm gonna spend some nice quality time with myself if no one hits me up to chill. lol. mall, gym, then visit corey at work. then tomorrow is the day before senior cut day. so i'm basically treating it as a friday night. plans are: drive jewel to edison to get her permit signed, go to uyees for half-off sushi with corey and jewel, and then menlo to spend more money on spring clothes. i wanna buy that bandeau dress or le sac dress with a lame gold strap. i also need to buy my shoes/clutch for prom, a flat wallet, and some sandals. thank goodness i have a well-paying job! no matter how much i HATE serving people, no job pays as good as this.

oh and i love getting out of classes to make bulletin boards for quarters for water and senior prom, haha.

as you can tell, as a senior into the first week of may, i'm so DONE with school. we literally begged my french teacher not to do work today so she made us fold senior prom invitations instead. haha. also, i'm a pretty sweet pickle ball player. it's like a giant version of ping pong, if i were to describe it to you. it's funny because i would suck when i played tennis with ankit, but i'd like to see what level i'm at now.

p.s. sorry this was a boring entry. i just felt like rambling.

Today, it snowed. The weather sucks so I'm stuck at home, BORED OUT OF MY FUCKING MIND. Sometimes I hate being alone with nothing to do because I start thinking about depressing things. The ugly weather just adds to my misery. But anyways, let's not get ungrateful, marielle. It's the weekend and break is in 2.5 days!

These past two days have been awesome. I've been staying out really late at night with Ankit and Max only because my parents haven't been home.

Two days ago was me and my love's 1 year anniversary. :) A new year in our relationship, new school year, and everything's just gonna be better and stronger.

October:
Lately, I have been BUSY BUSY BUSY. Work 3x a week, FIT, SiC, School, BF, and everything else.

November-Dec: I have nothing becuase I haven't been writing in here. I'm sooo sorry that I suck at updating this thing. But if I did write an entry for Nov. it would be: "hey, i'm 18." and December... "I got accepted to School of Visual Arts! and I'm broke."

I just got a job at Forever 21 and I'm training as server at Friendly's tomorrow!

But most importantly, I got to see my awesome boyfriend/best friend today. <3333333 I drove to him right after school. We were hugging each other for like ten minutes as if we haven't seen each other in FOREVER. Then we were like, "wait didn't we just see each other on Sunday?" and we just laughed.

K I have to write this damn essay now.

+ American Apparel called and hired me for a sales position. I got free clothes today! And 50% discounts on everythinggggg. :] But why the hell do they only make females sales associates and guys as stocking?! SO UNFAIR. So much for "equal employment".

+ Today was my first day. I didn't expect to be put on the floor! It was fun though... pretended to fix the racks over and over again.

- Was sad though because I was supposed to be at Ankit's house instead.

Period 7/8: AP Eng with Delaney (she's the easier english teacher!)

The last few periods of my day will be pretty chill and laid back. I'm excited for this year. I can't wait to make new friends and to succeed! :)

So, it's the last week of summer, and I need to read four books. I'll just skim them! Haha. I also need to sign up for that FIT class.

I am nothing special. I am not the most popular girl in school. I am just an ordinary 17-year-old girl who lives in this boring ass town known as Old Bridge. It is 4:38 am. The sun's about to rise, and here I am, wide awake, trying to figure out who the hell I am. I've had a rough past, and I'm finally learning vital things I should have learned a few years ago. I was raised in a strange way. I have had a maid all of my life up until she moved back to the motherland last year. Now that she's gone, I'm starting to experience the aftermath of having a maid for such a long period of time. I am incapable of doing anything on my own. I can't cook, keep my room tidy for more than a day, and I am just plain old lazy. I know I shouldn't blame my sheltered childhood for the way I am now. I mean, my sister had the same treatment when she was younger, but she turned out differently. She's independent, outgoing, and strong. I just wish I was the same way. Well, now I'm just making myself depressed. I am those things, I just wish I was MORE.



But anyways, someone very VERY close to me taught me an extremely important lesson. That is: to stand up for what you believe in and to be simply yourself. Be original. Do everything with a reason. All of these words probably don't make as much sense to you as they do to me. I will take these words and engrave it into my heart. I take close heed to them as I enter one of the biggest years of my life -- my senior year at Old Bridge High. This year, I have very specific goals in mind. I am so glad that I will be granted a fresh start in exactly 13 days. Last year, I lost many friends that only made me into a happier person. Last year, I got my first C ever. Last year, I seem to just be mediocre in every aspect. But this year, I plan on entering class just being me, and no one else. There is no holding me back. Don't worry, I still am going to be Marielle Sales, but the improved version. I'm going to be the most outgoing I have ever been. I'm going to work hard to make sure I get into my dream school. I'm going to be less selfish and give more. But most importantly, I will never forget who I am. I am Marielle Sales. I like to take pictures. I eat anything I see. I like to spoil my boyfriend. I work a minimum wage job scooping ice cream at Friendly's. I'm really weird (in a good way). I wear a retainer at night. I am just an ordinary girl with big dreams and a big heart. That's me in a nutshell.

Other than being bored at the moment, today I ate a kid's meal from my work. It was only $3.50 for a shirley temple, chicken wrap & waffle fries, and ice cream! I didn't even get to eat my ice cream since it was so filling. After work, I passed out on my floor for a good half hour. I couldn't even move! Then, at around 5:00, I finally decided to get up and drive over to Ankit's. Picked up Jess and went to the mall. He bought me a shirt. :) Then headed over to Pearl. Jess stole Ankit some markers, aha. I went home really early today. I hate having a curfew, but at least I got to spend time with him. Gosh, I really suck at driving. I broke about five laws today... ran red lights a few time, almost hit a pedestrian, sped. I'm horrible.

Yay for Shawn Johnson winning gold on the beam! Amazing.

I shall get ready for bed and wait for Ankit's call. Bye!
